This Institute of Hotel Management Gangtok was set up in the year 1990 by Ministry of Tourism , Govt. of India and Government of Sikkim
as Food Craft Institute with the aim of expansion and promotion of Hotel and Hospitality education, to fulfill the requirement of manpower in the hotel industry
all over. With the basic aim to provide job-oriented and professional higher education to students of all three streams (Sciences, Arts & Commerce) and to promote and popularise hospitality education according to the industry demand, all the programmes offered by the Institute are significantly designed and assures:

Institution Is Located at Sajong Rumtek,
2km from Gangtok,
capital city of Sikkim Gangtok is only 124 km
from Siliguri (New Jalpaiguri Rly Station,
West Bengal) and 120 kms from Bagdogrs Air Port,
Siliguri, West Bengal. The students
